Somber man in a lab chair with cables streaming upward from his head, surrounded by monitors; shirt reads THE FUTURE IS NOW.
The Future is Now, digital illustration.

Maybe it's my age, but looking across the scope of my life—having grown up in the 80s and 90s and seeing the modern technological age grow in real time—it's hard to deny that we live in the future.

Black scribbled monster with huge eyes and red text reading SEXY SINGLES IN YOUR AREA WANT TO MEET YOU!, on a white background.
Sexy Single, digital illustration.

It is in a monstrous future in many ways...

Elf-like humanoid in white robes stands in a black, starry scene, holding a jar of buds and a water bong.

But certainly not one without its thrills and distractions.

The future is now. Might as well make the best of it and try and enjoy the ride.

I'm excited to announce that two of my pieces—Always Watching, and a Three Panel Trump & Elon Comic—have been included in the "That's All Folks?" Aponte Art Gallery showing in Chicago, where they will be on display for the next two weeks. Both signed Giclée prints are available for purchase through the gallery for the duration of the show.

Stack of illustrated cards showing bald caricatured men in suits and red ties, one giving a thumbs-up, on a desk.

Elvis, ink on paper.

Most of my work, in both pen on paper and digital ink is focused on portraiture and renderings of the human form.

Most of the faces I draw are from memory or imagination, but on occasion I'll sketch from a model, whether that be a friend in the studio or a stranger on the street.

Minimal black ink sketch of a bearded man’s bust on a white background, with a stern, thoughtful expression
Marko, ink on paper.

Over the years I've experimented in various styles but I always come back to an obsession with the contours and lines of the human face.

Ink sketch of a man in a suit and tie on white paper, with a small handwritten signature at the bottom.
Man in suit, ink on paper.

The irony in my art is that I tend toward being a recluse, a loner, a hermit. And yet my art is fueled by a real human need to connect.
